Shri Balachandran Guru Swamy is a well known Ayyapa Guruswamy in Andra Pradesh. He was inclined to devotional and spiritual activities from his early age. He used to help his grandfather as a child to perform pooja in their own temple in Kerala. He learned Hindu traditional tantra pooja and also Lord Hanuman upsanna as per the wish of his grandfather. He is also an expert in Vedic Astrology and a trained Kalaripayattu martial artist.
He worked in RSS for a brief period of 12 years and actively participated in protecting and promoting Hinduism in different parts of Kerala. He held various positions at district level for RSS.

Shri Balachandran Guruswamy is taking ayyappa deeksha for more than 52 years. Around 3 lakh ayyapas have taken Ayyappa deeksha under the guidance of Guruswamy until now.Every year under his divine guidance thousands of ayyappas take Ayyapa deeksha. Many of his discipline are well known Guruswamy in AndhraPradesh and Telegana. Balachandran Guruswamy serves all the devotees equally without concerning about their economic status. He has been extending his services and also encouraging his followers to help the needy.
He is also an active member in Ayyappa Unity Movement and undergone and completed Ayyapa Dharma Training.
In his 55 years of devotional and spiritual service, Balachandran Guruswamy has performed numerous homams and ayyappa padi poojas.
